16 December 2014

Steam cleaning seems all the rage these days; it’s an ideal piece of equipment to have as it cleans everything from carpets to tiles and also it eliminates the need to buy a varied range of expensive cleaning products, potentially you heaps of cash.

What can we use them for?

People use steam cleaning at home for many different things as they are incredibly versatile. Usually people will steam clean the kitchen floor and tiles, the whole bathroom, carpets and rugs, upholstery, curtains, cushions and even windows too.

Are they good value for money?

When you consider the amount of money you will spend in one year on various amounts of different cleaning products and then compare that to the one time purchase cost of a steam cleaner you will see that it is very cost effective. Once the steam cleaner is purchased provided you take good care of it, it should last you for years and the only thing you need to use to make it work is water, and you keep topping that up as and when you need to.

However if you intend on buying a steam cleaning knowing full well that you will only store it away on the cupboard and never hardly use it, then maybe it wouldn’t be worth buying it so it depends on personal circumstances and how often you are likely to use this method of cleaning compared to conventional methods.

Steam cleaning benefits!

Steam cleaners have their benefits, it’s not just a great money saving device it also offers health benefits too. Conventional cleaning products can be hazardous to a person’s health if inhaled or to the skin and they could be potentially lethal if children happened to get hold of them. By investing in a steam cleaner you can eliminate all of those risks and also add some moisture to dry air, which is great for asthma sufferers.

Large areas such as lounge carpets are great for steam cleaning; it’s faster and much more effective than getting on your hands and knees with a scrubbing brush in tow.

Steam cleaning also uses less moisture than any other method which is great for a quick fix because the drying time is super duper fast. If you want to spruce up the sofa you will probably clean it and get it dry within one day whereas other methods will take much longer to both clean and dry.

To sum up,
•    You only need water to get it going.
•    The temperature is high enough to kill all bacteria and remove nasty smells
•    Its effective at cleaning hard to clean areas such as lime scale on taps and reside on tiles
•    Super duper fast drying time due to the heat, evaporation and less moisture
•    Adds moisture to dry hair, great for allergy and asthma sufferers
•    Without the use of harmful chemical cleaners, you can live much cleaner and healthier lifestyle.
•    Great money saving device, which can last you for years and eliminates the need to buy various different cleaning products.

How easy are they to use?
