Cleaning the promises of your soon to be former place of residence and cleaning up in your soon to be new home is important for everyone who is moving. For one, cleaning the place you are moving out of will allow you to get your deposit back (which is usually a substantial sum), while cleaning the place you are moving into will allow you to have a smoother and more pleasant experience when moving in.
You can accomplish both by planning for it in advance; starting with the cleaning of the place you are moving out of. You can start methodically, working room by room and identifying all the places that need to be cleaned and any repairs that need to be done. The same goes with the place you are moving into. It is recommended that you do all your cleaning when your things are not yet arranged and out of their boxes so that the cleaning process is easier and nothing is left out.
Also make sure that you have all the proper cleaning equipment, tools and chemicals so that your job will be easier. Don't forget to wear the proper safety gear such as goggles and gloves (especially when handling chemicals) to avoid accidents.
