Blinds are one of the things you have to clean regularly - since they are near windows, they are the ones to catch all the dust and dirt from the outside. It's important to keep you blinds clean, especially if there are people at home who are allergic to dust, or if there are people in your home who have asthma. But even in general, it's always best to keep things clean and dust free.
The easiest way to clean your blinds is with a moist cloth. Close you binds and then proceed to simply wipe them on both sides - reverse the closing position and then wipe again. Be sure to occasionally rinse the cloth you have so the dirt doesn't just spread around. This method is best quick cleans. For wooden blinds, on the other hand, certain wood cleaners can be used with the water for better results. Just make sure to use the right solution for the kind of wood your blinds are made of.
For more thorough cleaning, you can dip your blinds in a container with soap or cleaning solution, and then shake them around and proceed to brush the blinds with a soft bristled brush. This produces more thorough results, but is more time consuming.
