The house is made up of two important sections - the exterior and the interior sections.  The interior section is what we usually look into.  The concern is more on how one can put decors and designs inside the house not minding how the exterior portion of the house is well protected and checked.  Below are some of the ways on how one can check effectively the current state of the exterior house:   You should start looking on the roof of the house. The roof is the most vulnerable exterior part because the roof is the recipient of all hazardous and damaging elements such as the sunlight, morning dew and rains that cause rust in the roof, and other man-made damages.  Follow the check up by looking at the foundation of the house.  The foundation of the house may be susceptible to termites and other wood eating insects.  You need to check on these wood foundations and have termite killers check on it, too.  If you have cement or ceramic foundation, you should also check whether it gets overexposed on sun and rain.  Too much exposure on these can cause damage even on cement and ceramic made foundations. Lastly, check on the sidings of the house.  The sides of the house are referenced to the exterior walls.  Check on these walls if there are peelings on the paint caused by too much exposure on sun and water.    The exterior like the interior of the house also needs proper care.  And you can do that by giving a round check on the exteriors from time to time.
