Milk bases stains are one of the most common stains. If you have children, you would surely be exposed to such occurrence. A lot of food also contains milk. The problem is milk based stains can also be difficult to remove. In fact, it may not be removed once it dries in the fabric already.   The easiest way to remove milk based stain really is to act on it as soon as the accident happens. Simply blot the stain and remove as much of the substance. But if the spill happens away from home, the best first action would be to rinse the fabric especially the spot with cold water. If the stain happens on a non-washable item, you can use a sponge to take out the staining substance. You could use detergent and slowly work on the stain. You can also use a solution of a part alcohol and two parts water to remove the stain.  On the other hand if the stain fabric is washable, you can wash the item afterwards. You can also use bleach but make sure you check the washing instructions of the fabric.   But then the key is to start with the mildest solution in order to avoid damaging the fabric. That is why you should start with a warm water and detergent solution. Before you brush the spot, you can even try to work on the stain using your fingers. If the stain is a bit stubborn you can move to using a toothbrush to do so. To finally clean the residue you can wash the fabric thoroughly and restore it to its state before the stain.
