Bathroom cleaning is a tedious task that involves cleaning of bathtub, sink, shower, shower curtains, floor and toilet. If you use hard water, cleaning will be further hard as you have to do extra work to eliminate calcium deposits.  Here is some help to ease your bathroom cleaning.
Bathtub cleaning
 
Eliminating soap scum rings is the biggest problem whilst cleaning bathtub. It can be easily eliminated by using a solution of hydrogen peroxide and tartar mixed in appropriate proportions. Baking soda and vinegar can be used to get rid of tough stains.
 
Shower and shower walls
 
It is very common to have alkaline deposits on shower walls. You can avoid them by applying car wax to seal the pores in shower walls. This will ease the task of cleaning. It is recommended to wipe the shower wall regularly after bath.
 
Sink
 
To have sparkling sink free of stains, place paper towels saturated with white vinegar on the sink for about ten minutes and rinse off the vinegar.  
 
Toilet
Alkaline rings can be seen in toilet bowls too. A homemade solution of baking soda, liquid detergent and hot water will help to get rid of those nasty rings. Allowing the solution to sit in the bowl over the night will eliminate the rings even without scrubbing. A solution of white vinegar also helps to get rid of toilet rings. Never mix chlorine based solutions with vinegar it will give hasardous gases.
 
Tiles
 
Use a solution of trisodium phosphate to eliminate the soap scum on wall tiles.  Bleach can also be used to clean the tiles.
Preventing the problem of mildew
Clean the entire bathroom with a disinfectant, once in a month to prevent mildew growth. Clean the waste bin regularly to avoid foul smell and mildew growth.
 
Floor cleaning
 
It is suggested to clean the floor at the end after you have dusted walls, mirrors, cabinets and other accessories etc. Clear all the dirt before you mop the floor with warm water and disinfectant.  Allow the floor to dry completely and then replace the mats.
 
Whilst cleaning bathroom, never forget to wear hand gloves even if you use mild cleaners.
